Cinematographer. Filmmaker. Storyteller.
Piers was born and raised on the Island of Jersey, surrounded by nature and striking coastal scenery, from an early age this inspired his interest in exploration and his passion for seeing the world and meeting new people.
After studying for a BA (Hons) in Film and Video Production at Bournemouth University Piers moved to London to pursue a career in Filmmaking. He has worked for a top corporate production company as the in-house Camera Operator and Editor and then later as a Self-Shooting Director and Editor.

In 2014 Piers decided to become Freelance, over the years he has broadened his knowledge and had the opportunity to work on a host of different projects from promotional advertisements for BT Sport and Focus IMC, a broadcast documentary 'Fascists in the UK', documentary shorts for a privately funded charity on Human Trafficking in India 'Anita's Story', music videos for 'Zola Blood' and 'Joseph Lawrence and The Garden' and politically driven short films with the Almeida Theatre, 'Figures of Speech' which brings speeches from history into a digital world. On top of this he has worked on many short films, promos, event films and documentaries around the world.

Piers has worked with an huge variety of clients and production companies such as BT Sport, Focus IMC, Park District, Cheerful TwentyFirst, Verity, Channel 5, PBS, M&S, Next, River Island, The Telegraph, Justice and Care, Daily Mail and Inmarsat to name just a few.
Piers is hard working and always looking to help out on set, he works closely with teams and his goal is to create films that he can be proud of, that are artistic and interesting and that speak to people, learning about the world as well as having fun along the way.
